Our Story

A life well explored

Wild Edge Adventures was born from a lifetime of exploring — and a belief that the best memories are made when we step outside our comfort zones.

A scenic mountain landscape at golden hour

Wild Edge Adventures was born from a lifetime of exploring. Some of my favorite childhood memories were made piled into a station wagon with my family, heading out on two-week summer road trips across the country. We camped in an old canvas tent, visited national parks, discovered hidden gems, and learned that the journey was just as important as the destination.

That love for adventure stayed with me into adulthood as I shared those same experiences with my own children. Every summer we returned to the beautiful Ozarks, camping in a special place my grandparents first discovered decades ago—a tradition I've enjoyed my entire life.

A scenic trail winding through the countryside

Today, you'll still find me chasing waterfalls, kayaking quiet lakes, hiking scenic trails, exploring charming small towns, and seeking out places that most travelers pass by. From hiking Spain's Camino de Santiago to standing beneath the waterfalls of Havasu Falls in Arizona, trekking across the Flint Hills Trail in Kansas, or jumping into a crystal-clear cenote, I believe the best memories are made when we step outside our comfort zones.

I believe the best memories are made when we step outside our comfort zones.

Wild Edge Adventures was created to help others discover those same unforgettable experiences. Whether we're traveling across the world, exploring close to home, or unboxing a new adventure each month, our goal is simple: inspire people to discover new places, make lasting memories, and live a life well explored.
